Chelsea.... Typical Football Manager

If you have ever played football manager then you won't be new to the feeling of being on one of those bad runs of form and thinking everything is going against you. You decided to make some changes to make the team more solid and you finally see an improvement and your team puts in a good performance controlling the game for the most part. Then out of no where FM does what it does best and CHEATS!! From being in a dominant position you see it all crash before your eyes and the lead is gone. Then to take it that bit further they score again in the last minute and its at this very moment you dash your keyboard at your screen and end up breaking something, or if your one of those people who refuse to take it,quit with no remorse LMAO!!

Unfortunately for Chelsea yesterday there was no quit button and are terrible form of late continues. I must admit even though we lost there were some positives like Drogba getting back amongst with a great individual effort and Sturridge made some good bursting runs and picked out a great ball for the Drogba goal.

But although we looked relatively comfortable during the match its wasnt exactly a commanding performance with Ballack hitting the bar with a header in the first half and also forcing Cech to make two good saves later on in the match. It just seems that due to are slow build up play we don't seem to create enough chances in a game and I've also noticed this season how easy teams are finding it to counters us as we seem to lose the ball so cheaply around the opponents box and having over commited going forward we are left so open.

All I can say is that at least in 2 weeks we have the chance to rectify ourselves against a decent Valencia team and still qualify for the next round, I just hope its not too painful to watch cause these poor performances are starting to become emotional lool.

Is It Time to Change from 4-3-3

I've been watching Chelsea this season and I' starting to feel that maybe the 4-3-3 formation is just not right for us anymore. When we first introduced it under Jose Mourinho we had quick wingers like Robben and Duff and are midfield was solid and could control the game but now I dont really see any of those qualities.

At the moment we play Mata and Sturridge on the wings which I thought at first would be great but I dont think that this is eithers best or natural position and its not quite working. Mata to me is more of an attacking central midfielder just behind the striker and on the wing doesnt quite  have the pace to be a constant threat and Sturridge for me should be given the chance to play upfront cause to be honest  he looks the most lively of all are strikers.

I dunno maybe a change to 4-4-2 or maybe a 4-2-3-1 would be better suited to the players we have. Playing two up front would be what I prefer. We have Didier, Torres, Sturridge, Lukaku and Anelka I think that we need to start trying to get a partnership going upfront as the only point of having 3 in the middle is to try to dominate the middle of the park and we dont do that at all,so we might aswell just have 2 in there and try to get more goals. Man United are the perfect example. There central midlfield is nothing to shout out about. I dont think that I would take any of their players in the middle but the power of their strike force and good use of width gets them the results.

Lets Talk Obi Mikel..... Dead Body or Not

For me he is a dead body. He has all the physical attributes to be a good defensive mid. His tall, strong and has good stamina but it seems that he has all of these for absolutely no reason kmt.

What is it that he contributes to the team someone please tell me? He has the creativity of a fish. When it comes to offering anything going forward he is useless. Whenever he shoots its never even kinda close to being on target and his passing is a never more then 5 yards  and its always sideways ffs. What is it that he actually does in training, just pump weights cause I dont see no footballing ability.  I can't believe he was an attacking midfielder when he first arrived. When it comes to doing his job as defensive midfielder  LORD HELP US ALL!!  He can' tackle, never seems to be able win headers and his decison making is some what shocking.

Lets take the Liverpool game the other day as an example. I personally think that the goal itself was Cech's fault cause he should never have passed the ball to him in the first place but still there was more than enough time for him to do something with the ball, he could have played it first time to luiz or right back to cech but as soon as he took that touch there was no return boi. Another thing which aint really his fault is he is not Essien so he might aswell just give up and just go into the dead pile with kalou.

Defensive Problems

Ok lets talk about this chelsea defense. Why is it that avb is being so stubborn with this high line which is clearly not working what so ever. I understand that he wants us to play really attractive football like the barcelona’s of this world but really who is he kidding, we dont have the players to make that system work.

Are defense is far to slow and are midfield is not dominating enough when it comes to retaining posession so its just not going to work now or anytime soon. He just need to get out of his head that football must be played in a specific way, I am one those people that like results dnt no what you guys think but thats just me and attractive football is all good (which we aint even playing) when your winning but damn we are not.

Alright thats enough with the high line, lets talk bout what you think are best defensive 4 is. Personally it has to be cole, terry , alex , ivanovic all day they are all class players and they do there job well. I cant really understand why he is so insistent on playing david luiz especially when he is allowing him to be so expressive. He is a flippin centre back not no attacking mid! I cant lie he does have some good attacking attributes but its not his job if anything he would be better suited to like rb or dm cause mikel is not cutting it but  i m goona leave the mikel brushing to another time.
