Did Diego Costa cross the line?

Yesterday Chelsea got their second win in two games after defeating Arsenal 2-0, which is hopefully a sign of things to come and the start of Chelsea getting back in the title race and having a successful season. The whole team looked sharper, even my guy Ivanovic, and our attacking play was a lot more direct with fewer touches to get the ball forward which I think comes as a relief to many Chelsea fans due to our slow start to the season.

With that said I want to talk about Diego Costa and his style of play/ temper tantrums. Yesterday he was a constant threat, with his hard running and physical play, but its this physical play that is starting to become an issue. I think all fans enjoy when a striker is physical and a pest to defenders even to the point where they are playing mind games and getting under opposing players skins, but I feel Diego Costas' incident with Koscienly and Gabriel was stepping over the line. Not for the fact that Gabriel got sent off because it is own fault for not showing "emotional control" which Mourinho articulated, but for the fact that he himself could have easily have been sent off twice and could have potentially cost us the game. At some point his temper tantrums are going to need to stop or at least be calmed because it will cost us, with him getting a red card and lengthy suspension as referees start to pay him extra attention and opposing defenders wise up and start to play to this.

Do you think Diego Costa is crossing the line? What do you guys think? Did I get it wrong? Leave a comment below to share your thoughts.
